[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished the Battle of Hunayn, he sent Abu 'Amir with an army to the tribe of Aws. He encountered Durayd ibn Simmah and Durayd was killed. Allah caused his companions to be defeated, and the rest of the story was mentioned.  

البيهقي:١٧٩٥٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْأَدِيبُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو يَعْلَى ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ؓ قَالَ

لَمَّا فَرَغَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ حُنَيْنٍ بَعَثَ أَبَا عَامِرٍ عَلَى جَيْشٍ إِلَى أَوْطَاسٍ فَلَقِيَ دُرَيْدَ بْنَ الصِّمَّةِ فَقُتِلَ دُرَيْدٌ وَهَزَمَ اللهُ أَصْحَابَهُ وَذَكَرَ بَاقِيَ الْحَدِيثِ  

أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَمُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ أَبُو عَامِرٍ كَانَ فِي جَيْشِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَمَعَهُ بِحُنَيْنٍ فَبَعَثَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي أَتْبَاعِهِمْ وَهَذَا جَيْشٌ وَاحِدٌ كُلُّ فِرْقَةٍ مِنْهُ رِدْءٌ لِلْأُخْرَى وَإِذَا كَانَ الْجَيْشُ هَكَذَا فَلَوْ أَصَابَ الْجَيْشُ شَيْئًا دُونَ السَّرِيَّةِ أَوِ السَّرِيَّةُ شَيْئًا دُونَ الْجَيْشِ كَانُوا فِيهِ شُرَكَاءَ
