bayhaqi:17805 – Abū ʿAmr Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh al-Adīb > Abū Bakr al-Ismāʿīlī > Maḥmūd al-Wāsiṭī Lafẓah And al-Ḥasan b. Sufyān > Wahb > Khālid > Ḥabīb b. Abū ʿAmrah > ʿĀʾishah b. Ṭalḥah > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] We said, "O Messenger of Allah, we see that Jihad is the best deed. Should we not strive alongside you?" He said, "No, the best Jihad is a performed Hajj. A Hajj that is accepted." And Aisha was his paternal aunt.

البيهقي:١٧٨٠٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَدِيبُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ أَخْبَرَنِي مَحْمُودٌ الْوَاسِطِيُّ لَفْظَهُ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَا ثنا وَهْبٌ أنبأ خَالِدٌ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ؓ قَالَتْ

قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ نَرَى الْجِهَادَ أَفْضَلَ الْعَمَلِ؛ أَفَلَا نُجَاهِدُ مَعَكَ؟ قَالَ لَا وَلَكِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الْجِهَادِ حَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ وَكَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ خَالَتَهَا

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ
