[Machine] He was asked, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ have a ring?" He ﷺ said, "Yes." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delayed the night prayer until half the night had passed or close to half the night, then he came and said, "The people have prayed and gone to sleep, and you will remain in prayer as long as you wait for the prayer." Anas said, "It was as if I can still see the white ring on his finger made of silver," and he pointed with his left hand. He described it as having a short make. Abu Salih bin Abi Tahir informed us, narrating from my grandfather Yahya bin Mansur Al-Qadi, who narrated from Ahmad bin Salamah, who narrated from Abu Bakr Muhammad bin Nafi, who narrated from Zaid Al-Ami, who narrated from Hammad bin Salamah, from Thabit, that they asked Anas bin Malik about the ring of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He mentioned it in its essence except that he said and raised his left pinky finger.  

سُئِلَ هَلْ كَانَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ خَاتَمٌ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ أَخَّرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْعِشَاءَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ وَقَدْ كَادَ يَذْهَبُ شَطْرُ اللَّيْلِ أَوْ عِنْدَ شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلُّوا وَنَامُوا وَإِنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَزَالُوا فِي الصَّلَاةِ مَا انْتَظَرْتُمُ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ أَنَسٌ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيضِ خَاتَمِهِ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ الْيُسْرَى وَوَصَفَ 1757 أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو صَالِحِ بْنُ أَبِي طَاهِرٍ أنا جَدِّي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْقَاضِي ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ثنا زَيْدٌ الْعَمِّيُّ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّهُمْ سَأَلُوا أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ عَنْ خَاتَمِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ بِمَعْنَاهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَرَفَعَ أُصْبُعَهُ الْيُسْرَى الْخِنْصَرَ
