البيهقي:١٦٤٤٩ – وَأَمَّا الْأَثَرُ الَّذِي أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ خَمِيرَوَيْهِ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ عَامِرٍ يَعْنِي الشَّعْبِيَّ أَنَّ قَتِيلًا وُجِدَ فِي خَرِبَةِ وَادِعَةِ هَمْدَانَ فَرُفِعَ إِلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فَأَحْلَفَهُمْ خَمْسِينَ يَمِينًا مَا قَتَلْنَا وَلَا عَلِمْنَا قَاتِلًا ثُمَّ غَرَّمَهُمُ الدِّيَةَ ثُمَّ قَالَ

يَا مَعْشَرَ هَمْدَانَ حَقَنْتُمْ دِمَاءَكُمْ بِأَيْمَانِكُمْ فَمَا يَبْطُلُ دَمُ هَذَا الرَّجُلِ الْمُسْلِمِ
