[Machine] Some argued with her about it and said, "Indeed, Allah, blessed and exalted, says, 'Three divorces.'" So Aisha said, "Do you know what 'Al-Aqra' means?" They said, "It refers to the pure ones." Aisha and I heard Ibn Shihab saying that he heard Abu Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman saying, "I have not come across any of our scholars except that they say, 'This is what Aisha meant by the narration of Ibn Bukayr.'" And in the narration of Shafi'i, Aisha said, "You are correct. But do you know what 'Al-Aqra' means?" "Al-Aqra' means the pure ones."
جَادَلَهَا فِي ذَلِكَ أُنَاسٌ وَقَالُوا إِنَّ اللهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَقُولُ {ثَلَاثَةَ قُرُوءٍ} [البقرة 228] فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ ؓ وَتَدْرُونَ مَا الْأَقْرَاءُ؟ إِنَّمَا الْأَقْرَاءُ الْأَطْهَارُ قَالَا وَأَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَقُولُ مَا أَدْرَكْتُ أَحَدًا مِنْ فُقَهَائِنَا إِلَّا وَهُوَ يَقُولُ هَذَا يُرِيدُ الَّذِي قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ ؓ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ الشَّافِعِيِّ فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ ؓ صَدَقْتُمْ وَهَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَا الْأَقْرَاءُ؟ الْأَقْرَاءُ الْأَطْهَارُ
