[Machine] Indeed, didn't you see how I burned it with fire? So when he came out, he said, "Take off this garment from me and cut the heads of these statues in the palace." So he cut them.  

البيهقي:١٤٥٨٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ نا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ نا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ الْمِسْوَرَ بْنَ مَخْرَمَةَ دَخَلَ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يَعُودُهُ فَرَأَى عَلَيْهِ ثَوْبَ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا عَبَّاسٍ مَا هَذَا الثَّوْبُ؟ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ وَمَا هُوَ؟ قَالَ الْإِسْتَبْرَقُ قَالَ إِنَّمَا كُرِهَ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ يَتَكَبَّرُ فِيهِ قَالَ مَا هَذِهِ التَّصَاوِيرُ فِي الْكَانُونِ؟ فَقَالَ

لَا جَرَمَ أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ أُحَرِّقُهَا بِالنَّارِ؟ فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ قَالَ انْزِعُوا هَذَا الثَّوْبَ عَنِّي وَاقْطَعُوا رُءُوسَ هَذِهِ التَّصَاوِيرَ الَّتِي فِي الْكَانُونِ فَقَطَعَهَا
