[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade injustice. I said to Nafi', 'What is injustice?' He said, 'It is when a man marries the daughter of another man without paying a bride-price, and he marries his own daughter without paying a bride-price, and he marries the sister of another man without paying a bride-price, and he marries his own sister without paying a bride-price.'"  

البيهقي:١٤١٣٥أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ أَنَّ

رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الشِّغَارِ قُلْتُ لِنَافِعٍ مَا الشِّغَارُ؟ قَالَ يَنْكِحُ ابْنَةَ الرَّجُلِ وَيُنْكِحُهُ ابْنَتَهُ بِغَيْرِ صَدَاقٍ وَيَنْكِحُ أُخْتَ الرَّجُلِ وَيُنْكِحُهُ أُخْتَهُ بِغَيْرِ صَدَاقٍ  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ مُسَدَّدٍ وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ وَغَيْرِهِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَرَوَاهُ أَيْضًا أَيُّوبُ السَّخْتِيَانِيُّ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّرَّاجُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ دُونَ التَّفْسِيرِ

Ibn ‘Umar said “The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ prohibited shighar marriage. Musaddad added in his version “I said to ‘Nafi “What is shighar?” (It means that) a man marries the daughter of another man and gives his own daughter to him in marriage without fixing dower; and a man marries the sister of another man and gives him his sister in marriage without fixing dower.
