[Machine] If he returns, he should wash his private parts. This is the most correct opinion according to Al-Layth ibn Abi Sulaim. However, it is not used as evidence. In the hadith of Abu Sa'eed, it is sufficient. And there is a hadith narrated in between them regarding washing which is not strong.  

البيهقي:١٤٠٩٠وَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ثنا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُسْتَهِلِّ عَنْ عُمَرَ ؓ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمْ أَهْلَهُ فَأَرَادَ

أَنْ يَعُودَ فَلْيَغْسِلْ فَرْجَهُ هَذَا أَصَحُّ وَلَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ لَا يُحْتَجُّ بِهِ وَفِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ كِفَايَةٌ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ فِي الْغُسْلِ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ حَدِيثٌ لَيْسَ بِقَوِيٍّ
