[Machine] That Umm Hakim bint al-Harith ibn Hisham, who was under the protection of Akrimah ibn Abi Jahl, accepted Islam on the day of the conquest of Mecca. Her husband, Akrimah ibn Abi Jahl, escaped from Islam and fled to Yemen. Umm Hakim traveled until she reached him in Yemen and invited him to Islam. He accepted Islam and came to the Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ , in the year of the conquest. When the Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ , saw him, he jumped up in joy and did not remove his cloak until he pledged allegiance to him, and they both remained steadfast in their marriage.
