البيهقي:١٣٩٩٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَامِدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الرَّازِيُّ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ زَاهِرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أنبأ حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ هَرَمٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ جَابِرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ هَلْ يَصْلُحُ لِلْحُرِّ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَ بِأَمَةٍ وَهُوَ يَجِدُ مَهْرَ حُرَّةٍ؟ قَالَ

إِنَّمَا يَتَزَوَّجُ الْأَمَةَ مَنْ لَا يَجِدُ مَهْرَ الْحُرَّةِ وَخَشِيَ الْعَنَتَ
