[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the guardians arrange a marriage, the first has more right (to give consent)."  

البيهقي:١٣٨٠١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمَعْرُوفُ بِابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ؓ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَنْكَحَ الْوَلِيَّانِ فَالْأَوَّلُ أَحَقُّ هَكَذَا  

رَوَاهُ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ فِي كِتَابِ تَحْرِيمِ الْجَمْعِ وَفِي الْإِمْلَاءِ وَزَادَ فِيهِ فِي الْإِمْلَاءِ وَإِذَا بَاعَ الْمُجِيزَانِ فَالْأَوَّلُ أَحَقُّ وَرَوَاهُ فِي كِتَابِ أَحْكَامِ الْقُرْآنِ كَمَا 13802 أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ فِي مَوْضِعٍ آخَرَ مِنَ الْمُسْنَدِ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ بِإِسْنَادِهِ وَمَتْنِهِ بِتَمَامِهِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
