[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ addressed Umm Salamah and said, "Tell your son to marry you" or he said, "Marry her son to her," and he was young at that time and had not reached the age of puberty. The sheikh (may Allah have mercy on him) said, "The Prophet ﷺ had something unique in the matter of marriage that others did not have."  

البيهقي:١٣٧٥٤وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الرَّزَّازُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْخَلِيلِ ثنا الْوَاقِدِيُّ ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَطَبَ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ مُرِي ابْنَكِ أَنْ يُزَوِّجَكِ أَوْ قَالَ زَوَّجَهَا ابْنُهَا وَهُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ صَغِيرٌ لَمْ يَبْلُغْ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ وَكَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي بَابِ النِّكَاحِ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لِغَيْرِهِ
