[Machine] And among the captives were Uqbah ibn Abi Mu'ayt and Nadhr ibn al-Harith. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Safra, Nadhr ibn al-Harith was killed by Ali ibn Abi Talib, as I have been informed. He then proceeded and when he arrived in A'raqi al-Thubyah, Uqbah ibn Abi Mu'ayt was killed. Uqbah said, when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered his killing, 'Who will take care of my children?' The fire (of Hell) said, 'I will.' And Asim ibn Thabit ibn Abi al-Aqlah killed him.  

وَكَانَ فِي الْأُسَارَى عُقْبَةُ بْنُ أَبِي مُعَيْطٍ وَالنَّضْرُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ فَلَمَّا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِالصَّفْرَاءِ قُتِلَ النَّضْرُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَتَلَهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ كَمَا خُبِّرْتُ ثُمَّ مَضَى فَلَمَّا كَانَ بِعَرَقِ الظَّبْيَةِ قُتِلَ عُقْبَةُ بْنُ أَبِي مُعَيْطٍ فَقَالَ عُقْبَةُ حِينَ أَمَرَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُقْتَلَ مَنْ لِلصِّبْيَةِ؟ فَقَالَ النَّارُ وَقَتَلَهُ عَاصِمُ بْنُ ثَابِتِ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَقْلَحِ
