[Machine] "Khaibar was partly by force and partly by peaceful means, and the majority of the Kattiba was through force but there was also peace. I asked Malik, what is the Kattiba? He said, it is the land of Khaibar and it is forty thousand acres."  

البيهقي:١٢٨٢٧أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ قُرِئَ عَلَى الْحَارِثِ بْنِ مِسْكِينٍ وَأَنَا شَاهِدٌ أَخْبَرَكُمُ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ

أَنَّ خَيْبَرَ كَانَ بَعْضُهَا عَنْوَةً وَبَعْضُهَا صُلْحًا وَالْكَتِيبَةُ أَكْثَرُهَا عَنْوَةً وَفِيهَا صُلْحٌ قُلْتُ لِمَالِكٍ وَمَا الْكَتِيبَةُ؟ قَالَ أَرْضُ خَيْبَرَ وَهِيَ أَرْبَعُونَ أَلْفَ عِذْقٍ
