[Machine] He used to drink from water containers that people would place between Mecca and Medina. So it was said to him, and he said, "Indeed, obligatory charity has been forbidden for us."  

البيهقي:١٢٠٣٩وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَشْرَبُ مِنْ سِقَايَاتٍ كَانَ يَضَعُهَا النَّاسُ بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ فَقُلْتُ أَوْ قِيلَ لَهُ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْنَا الصَّدَقَةُ الْمَفْرُوضَةُ
