He who hoards is a sinner. It was said to Saʿid (b. al-Musayyib): You also hoard. Saʿid said: Maʿmar who narrated this hadith also hoarded. (Using translation from Muslim 1605a)   

البيهقي:١١١٤٧أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْحَرَشِيُّ وَأنبأ أَبُو صَالِحِ ابْنُ بِنْتِ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ الْقَاضِي ثنا جَدِّي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو أنبأ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى قَالَ كَانَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ مَعْمَرًا قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنِ احْتَكَرَ فَهُوَ خَاطِئٌ فَقَالَ إِنْسَانٌ لِسَعِيدٍ فَإِنَّكَ تَحْتَكِرُ فَقَالَ سَعِيدٌ مَعْمَرٌ الَّذِي كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ كَانَ يَحْتَكِرُ  

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنِ الْقَعْنَبِيِّ
