[Machine] He said, "One should not pray the funeral prayer unless he is in a state of purity, and likewise."  

البيهقي:١٠٩٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ شَرِيكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْإِسْفَرَايِينِيُّ أنا بِشْرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْبَيْهَقِيُّ ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ إِلَّا وَهُوَ طَاهِرٌ وَكَذَلِكَ  

رَوَاهُ مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ وَالَّذِي رُوِيَ عَنْهُ فِي التَّيَمُّمِ لِصَلَاةِ الْجِنَازَةِ يُحْتَمَلُ أَنْ يَكُونَ فِي السَّفَرِ عِنْدَ عَدَمِ الْمَاءِ وَفِي إِسْنَادِ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فِي التَّيَمُّمِ ضَعْفٌ ذَكَرْنَاهُ فِي كِتَابِ الْمَعْرِفَةِ وَالَّذِي رَوَى الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي ذَلِكَ لَا يَصِحُّ عَنْهُ إِنَّمَا هُوَ قَوْلُ عَطَاءٍ كَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ مِنْ قَوْلِهِ وَهَذَا أَحَدُ مَا أَنْكَرَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ عَلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ وَقَدْ رُفِعَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهُوَ خَطَأٌ قَدْ بَيَّنَّاهُ فِي الْخِلَافِيَّاتِ وَبِاللهِ التَّوْفِيقُ
