[Machine] He approached from the cliff until he reached Al-Mirbad, then he performed Tayammum (dry ablution), wiped his face and hands, and prayed Asr. Then he entered the city while the sun was high and did not repeat the prayer. Al-Shafi'i said, "The cliff is close to the city." The Sheikh said, "It has been narrated in a Mursal hadith from the Prophet ﷺ, but it is not confirmed."  

البيهقي:١٠٦٤وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبُ أنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنا الشَّافِعِيُّ أنا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ أَقْبَلَ مِنَ الْجُرْفِ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ بِالْمِرْبَدِ تَيَمَّمَ فَمَسَحَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ وَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ الْمَدِينَةَ وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ فَلَمْ يُعِدِ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ الْجُرْفُ قَرِيبٌ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مُسْنَدًا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَلَيْسَ بِمَحْفُوظٍ
