[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ pledged allegiance to a man. And when he pledged allegiance to him, he said, "Choose." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This is how the sale is done."  

البيهقي:١٠٤٤١أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فُورَكٍ أنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الضَّبِّيُّ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بَايَعَ رَجُلًا فَلَمَّا بَايَعَهُ قَالَ اخْتَرْ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ هَكَذَا الْبَيْعُ
