ahmad:9237 – Surayj b. al-Nuʿmān al-Luʾluʾī And ʾAbū Kāmil > Ḥammād b. Salamah > Muḥammad b. Ziyād

[Machine] I heard Abu Al-Qasim, ﷺ , saying, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, there will come out men from the city out of desire and the city is better for them if they only knew."

أحمد:٩٢٣٧ – حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ اللُّؤْلُؤِيُّ وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ قَالَ سُرَيْجٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَيَخْرُجَنَّ رِجَالٌ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ رَغْبَةً عَنْهَا وَالْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ
