Part of the Sunnah in prayer is to put one hand over the other beneath the navel.
إِنَّ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ فِي الصَّلاةِ وَضْعُ الْأَكُفِّ عَلَى الْأَكُفِّ تَحْتَ السُّرَّةِ

إِنَّ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ فِي الصَّلاةِ وَضْعُ الْأَكُفِّ عَلَى الْأَكُفِّ تَحْتَ السُّرَّةِ
AbuJuhayfah said: Ali said that it is a sunnah to place one hand on the other in prayer below the navel.
السُّنَّةُ وَضْعُ الْكَفِّ عَلَى الْكَفِّ فِي الصَّلاَةِ تَحْتَ السُّرَّةِ
(The established way of folding hands is) to hold the hands by the hands in prayer below the navel. Abu Dawud said: I heard Ahmad b. Hanbal say: The narrator 'Abd al-Rahman b. Ishaq al-Kufi is weak (i.e. not reliable).
أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ أَخْذُ الأَكُفِّ عَلَى الأَكُفِّ فِي الصَّلاَةِ تَحْتَ السُّرَّةِ
"عَنْ عَلِىٍّ قَالَ: إِنَّ مِنَ السُّنَةِ فِى الصَّلاَةِ وَضْع الأكُفِّ عَلَى الأكُفِّ، وَفِى لَفْظٍ: وَضْعُ الْيَمينِ عَلَى الشِّمِالِ تَحْتَ السُّرَّةِ".
