[Machine] He asked the Prophet ﷺ, "How much of the Quran should I read?" The Prophet mentioned a hadith and said, "Keep reading it until it becomes difficult for you to comprehend if you read it in less than three days." He asked, "How should I fast?" He replied, "Fast for three days every month, three days out of every ten days. And you will receive the rewards of fasting for nine days." He said, "I am capable of doing more than that." He replied, "Fast for two days out of every ten days, and you will receive the rewards of fasting for eight days." This continued until he reached fasting for five days.
