[Machine] Verily, the heavens and the earth and all that is in them have been placed in one end of the scale and La ilaha illallah (there is no deity except Allah) has been placed in the other end, and it is this (the declaration of La ilaha illallah) that outweighs them (the heavens and the earth) in merit. Had the heavens and the earth and all that is in them been a plate of steel and a man were to say La ilaha illallah, it would break them (the heavens and the earth) until it (the declaration) reaches Allah, the Exalted and Glorious. Abdullah bin Amr reported: We prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Maghrib, and he delayed the prayer beyond its time. Then he came out to us while we were anxiously waiting for him and he said: "Be glad, O Muslims! This is your Lord who has opened a gate from the gates of Heaven tonight, and the angels of mercy have come down in order to talk to you.”  

أَنَّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا فِيهِمَا وُضِعَ فِي كِفَّةِ الْمِيزَانِ وَوُضِعَتْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فِي الْكِفَّةِ الْأُخْرَى لَرَجَحَتْ بِهِنَّ وَلَوْأَنَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا فِيهِنَّ كُنَّ طَبَقًا مِنْ حَدِيدٍ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ لَخَرَقَتْهُنَّ حَتَّى تَنْتَهِيَ إِلَى اللهِ ﷻ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو صَلَّيْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَغْرِبَ فَعَقَّبَ مَنْ عَقَّبَ وَرَجَعَ مَنْ رَجَعَ فَجَاءَ ﷺ وَقَدْ كَادَ يَحْسِرُ ثِيَابَهُ عَنْ رُكْبَتَيْهِ فَقَالَ أَبْشِرُوا مَعْشَرَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ هَذَا رَبُّكُمْ قَدْ فَتَحَ بَابًا مِنْ أَبْوَابِ السَّمَاءِ يُبَاهِي بِكُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ يَقُولُ هَؤُلَاءِ عِبَادِي قَضَوْا فَرِيضَةً وَهُمْ يَنْتَظِرُونَ أُخْرَى
