ahmad:6520Ibn Numayr > ʿUthmān b. Ḥakīm > Abū Umāmah b. Sahl b. Ḥunayf > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr

[Machine] We were sitting with the Prophet ﷺ when Amr ibn al-Aas went to wear his clothes so that he could catch up with me. The Prophet said, "While we are with him, a man with a damaged eye will enter upon you." By Allah, I remained fearful, looking left and right, until a certain person entered, meaning the judge.  

أحمد:٦٥٢٠حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ

كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَقَدْ ذَهَبَ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ يَلْبَسُ ثِيَابَهُ لِيَلْحَقَنِي فَقَالَ وَنَحْنُ عِنْدَهُ لَيَدْخُلَنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ رَجُلٌ لَعِينٌ فَوَاللهِ مَا زِلْتُ وَجِلًا أَتَشَوَّفُ دَاخِلًاوَخَارِجًا حَتَّى دَخَلَ فُلَانٌ يَعْنِي الْحَكَمَ
