ahmad:6356ʿAbd al-Razzāq And Ibn Bakr > Ibn Jurayj > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

[Machine] "He informed him about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ or about Umar. Nafi 'the narrator' confirmed that the speaker was certain and said, 'I am certain that it was one of them, and I only hear it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .' He (the speaker) said, 'None of you should imitate the Jews in the prayer, so if anyone has two garments then let him wear both of them and if he does not have two garments then let him wear one and pray.'"  

أحمد:٦٣٥٦حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَوْ عَنْ عُمَرَ قَدِ اسْتَيْقَنَ نَافِعٌ الْقَائِلَ قَدِ اسْتَيْقَنْتُ أَنَّهُ أَحَدُهُمَا وَمَا أُرَاهُ إِلَّا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَشْتَمِلْ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ اشْتِمَالَ الْيَهُودِ لِيَتَوَشَّحْ مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ ثَوْبَانِ فَلْيَأْتَزِرْ وَلْيَرْتَدِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ ثَوْبَانِ فَلْيَأْتَزِرْ ثُمَّ لِيُصَلِّ
