[Machine] He used to dye his clothes and anoint himself with saffron. He was asked, "Why do you dye this with saffron?" He replied, "Because I saw that it was the most beloved dye to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he would anoint himself and dye his clothes with it."
أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَصْبُغُ ثِيَابَهُ وَيَدَّهِنُ بِالزَّعْفَرَانِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ لِمَ تَصْبُغُ هَذَا بِالزَّعْفَرَانِ؟ قَالَ لِأَنِّي رَأَيْتُهُ أَحَبَّ الْأَصْبَاغِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَدَّهِنُ وَيَصْبُغُ بِهِ ثِيَابَهُ
