[Machine] Ibn Umar entered upon Yahya ibn Said and a young boy from his children who had tied a chicken and was throwing it. Ibn Umar walked towards the chicken, untied it, and then took it along with the boy. He said to Yahya, "Reprimand your boy for not allowing this bird to endure the killing, for indeed I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbidding the slaughter of an animal out of patience with it, whether it is a camel or otherwise. And if you want to slaughter it, then do so."
