[Machine] I heard Ibn Umar saying that a Bedouin man called the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم and asked him, "What do you see in this lizard?" The Prophet replied, "I neither eat it nor forbid it."  

أحمد:٥٥٣٠حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ

سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا نَادَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَا تَرَى فِي هَذَا الضَّبِّ؟ فَقَالَ لَا آكُلُهُ وَلَا أُحَرِّمُهُ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the eating of (the flesh) of the lizard, whereupon he said: I am neither the eater of it nor its prohibitor. (Using translation from Muslim 1943a)
