[Machine] Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray at night in pairs, and then he would perform one Rak'ah of Witr at the end of the night. Anas said, "I asked him (Ibn Umar), 'What did you recite in the two Rak'ahs before Fajr?' He replied, 'You are asking about something great. I am only recounting it for you. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray two Rak'ahs at night, two Rak'ahs at night, then he would perform one Rak'ah of Witr at the end of the night. Then he would stand as if hearing the Adhan or Iqamah in his ears.'"
