[Machine] Two men had a transaction during the time of the Prophet ﷺ regarding a date palm before it bore any fruit. However, the tree did not bear any fruit. So the Prophet ﷺ asked them, "On what basis will you consume his wealth?" And he prohibited selling the fruit until its ripeness becomes evident.  

أحمد:٥٢٣٦حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ النَّجْرَانِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَجُلَيْنِ تَبَايَعَا عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ نَخْلًا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الثَّمَرَةُ فَلَمْ تُطْلِعْ شَيْئًا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى أَيِّ شَيْءٍ تَأْكُلُ مَالَهُ وَنَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ
