ahmad:4643 – Yaḥyá > Ibn Jurayj > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you should eat from his sacrificial offering (udhiyah) for more than three days." Abdullah, when the sun would set on the third day, would not eat from the meat of his sacrificial offering.  

أحمد:٤٦٤٣ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَأْكُلْ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ أُضْحِيَّتِهِ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ إِذَا غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ مِنَ الْيَوْمِ الثَّالِثِ لَا يَأْكُلُ مِنْ لَحْمِ هَدْيِهِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you should eat from his sacrifice beyond three days." He said, "Abdullah used to refrain from eating the meat of his sacrifice once the sun had set on the third day."
