ahmad:4374Shujāʿ b. al-Walīd

[Machine] Abu Khaled, who used to be in the Banu Dalan, narrated to us that Yazid al-Wasiti reported from Talq ibn Habib, who reported from Abu Aqra al-Asadi that he said, "I came to Abdullah ibn Mas'ud and I found him standing on a rooftop. I heard him saying, 'Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth, Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth.' So I climbed up to him and said, 'O Abu Abdullah, what is wrong with you?' He said, 'Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth, Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth.' I asked him, 'What did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ inform you?' He replied, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ informed us that Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Decree) is in the last ten nights of Ramadan, and the sun rises in the morning without rays.' So I ascended and looked at it, and I said, 'Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth, Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth.'"
