[Machine] "That the commander of the faithful (Caliph Ali) has now left. He said, 'I do not know if the words of Ibn Mas'ud were faster or the eloquence of Uthman.' He said, 'Uthman was more delicate with the people, and Ibn Mas'ud did not exceed beyond the neck until we gathered, then Ibn Mas'ud led us in prayer for Maghrib. Then he called for his dinner, then he had supper, then he stood and prayed the last Isha prayer, then he slept until the first light of dawn when he got up and prayed Fajr (morning prayer).' I said to him, 'Why do you perform this prayer at this hour?' He said, 'I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on this day and in this place praying at this hour.'"
