[Machine] I heard Ibn Abbas saying, "I was a young boy walking with the servants when I turned and found the Prophet of Allah ﷺ approaching me. I asked, 'Why did the Prophet of Allah ﷺ come except for me?' He said, 'So I hurried and hid behind the door of a house.' He said, 'I didn't realize until he grabbed me by the shoulder and shook me, then he said, 'Go and call Muawiya for me.' He said, 'Muawiya was his scribe, so I rushed and came to Muawiya and said, 'The Prophet of Allah ﷺ is calling for you because he needs you.'"  

سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ كُنْتُ غُلامًا أَسْعَى مَعَ الْغِلْمَانِ فَالْتَفَتُّ فَإِذَا أَنَا بِنَبِيِّ اللهِ ﷺ خَلْفِي مُقْبِلًا فَقُلْتُ مَا جَاءَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ إِلا إِلَيَّ قَالَ فَسَعَيْتُ حَتَّى أَخْتَبِئَ وَرَاءَ بَابِ دَارٍ قَالَ فَلَمْ أَشْعُرْ حَتَّى تَنَاوَلَنِي فَأَخَذَ بِقَفَايَ فَحَطَأَنِي حَطْأَةً فَقَالَ اذْهَبْ فَادْعُ لِي مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ وَكَانَ كَاتِبَهُ فَسَعَيْتُ فَأَتَيْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ فَقُلْتُ أَجِبْ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ فَإِنَّهُ عَلَى حَاجَةٍ
