[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ threw the pebbles after the sun had set.

رَمَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْجِمَارَ بَعْدَ مَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ

Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ flung pebbles at jamra on the Day of Nahr after sunrise, and after that (i. e. on the 11th, 12th and 13th of Dhu'l-Hijja when the sun had declined.  

مسلم:١٢٩٩b – وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ وَابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

رَمَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْجَمْرَةَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ضُحًى وَأَمَّا بَعْدُ فَإِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ  

nasai:3063 – Muḥammad b. Yaḥyá b. Ayyūb b. Ibrāhīm al-Thaqafī al-Marwazī > ʿAbdullāh b. Idrīs > Ibn Jurayj > Abū al-Zubayr > Jābir

"The Messenger of Allah stoned the Jamrat on the Day of Sacrifice in the forenoon, and after the Day of Sacrifice he stoned (the Jamarat) When the sun had passed its zenith."  

النسائي:٣٠٦٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الثَّقَفِيُّ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

رَمَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْجَمْرَةَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ضُحًى وَرَمَى بَعْدَ يَوْمِ النَّحْرِ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ  

tirmidhi:898 – Aḥmad b. ʿAbdah al-Ḍabbī al-Baṣrī > Ziyād b. ʿAbdullāh > al-Ḥajjāj > al-Ḥakam > Miqsam > Ibn ʿAbbās

"The Messenger of Allah stoned the Jimar when the sun had passed the zenith."  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan.
الترمذي:٨٩٨ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَرْمِي الْجِمَارَ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ
