[Machine] Muawiyah bought a cup made of silver for a price that was less than or equal to its value. Abu Darda said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade such transactions except if it is like for like.  

أحمد:٢٧٥٣١حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ

أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ اشْتَرَى سِقَايَةً مِنْ فِضَّةٍ بِأَقَلَّ مِنْ ثَمَنِهَا أَوْ أَكْثَرَ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ مِثْلِ هَذَا إِلَّا مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ
