[Machine] A man came and fell into disagreement about Ali and Ammar in the presence of Aisha. She said, "As for Ali, I have nothing to say about him to you. As for Ammar, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'No choice is to be made between two matters except that the more virtuous of the two should be chosen.'"  

أحمد:٢٤٨٢٠حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَوَقَعَ فِي عَلِيٍّ وَفِي عَمَّارٍ عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَتْ أَمَّا عَلِيٌّ فَلَسْتُ قَائِلَةً لَكَ فِيهِ شَيْئًا وَأَمَّا عَمَّارٌ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا يُخَيَّرُ بَيْنَ أَمْرَيْنِ إِلَّا اخْتَارَ أَرْشَدَهُمَا
