[Machine] She said, "O son of my sister, the hair of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to be above the shoulders and below the earlobes. By Allah, O son of my sister, if a month passed by the family of Muhammad ﷺ without a fire being lit in the house of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, except for what they used for cooking, it would only be the black water and dates. But the people of the Ansar who lived around us, may Allah reward them good, would send to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ a large amount of butter, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would receive some of that milk. Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away and there was nothing in his house that he could eat except for a half of a mudd of barley, so I ate from it until it lasted for a long time. Then, when it became small, I stopped eating it. By Allah, I did not finish eating it. And by Allah, his bedding was made from the leaves of palm trees." And Al-Hashimi mentioned something similar to that, except that he said, "his bedding was made from palm fibers."
