[Machine] When the Prophet's illness, in which he passed away, became severe, he said, "Summon Abu Bakr and his son so that they may write for me, lest Abu Bakr's ambitions are aroused or someone desires something similar." Then he said, "Allah refuses that, and the Muslims twice." And Aisha said, "Allah refuses that, and the Muslims twice." Then he said, "Allah refuses that, and the believers twice, except that my father is there, so let it be my father."  

أحمد:٢٤٧٥١حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

لَمَّا كَانَ وَجَعُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ الَّذِي قُبِضَ فِيهِ قَالَ ادْعُوا لِي أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَابْنَهُ فَلْيَكْتُبْ لِكَيْلَا يَطْمَعَ فِي أَمْرِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ طَامِعٌ وَلَا يَتَمَنَّى مُتَمَنٍّ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَأْبَى اللهُ ذَلِكَ وَالْمُسْلِمُونَ مَرَّتَيْنِ وقَالَ مُؤَمَّلٌ مَرَّةً وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ قَالَتْعَائِشَةُ فَأَبَى اللهُ وَالْمُسْلِمُونَ وقَالَ مُؤَمَّلٌ مَرَّةً وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ أَبِي فَكَانَ أَبِي
