[Machine] Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, "No prophet's soul is taken until he sees his reward, then it is returned to him and he is given the choice between keeping it or joining his Lord." So I memorized this statement from him. She then said, "I placed his head on my chest and looked at him until his gaze was fixed upward." She continued, "So I said, 'So by Allah, Allah does not choose us.' He said, 'With the highest companions in Paradise, with those whom Allah has favored among the prophets and the righteous' until the end of the verse."
