[Machine] On the day of Al-Khandaq, a man from the polytheists was injured, and they asked the Prophet ﷺ to spare him. He said, "No, there is no favor for you." They said, "We will give you compensation for that." He said, "That is even worse and more detestable."  

أحمد:٢٣١٩حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْهُ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

أُصِيبَ يَوْمِ الْخَنْدَقِ رَجُلٌ مِنَ المُشْرِكِينَ وَطَلَبُوا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنْ يُجِنُّوهُ فَقَالَ لَا وَلا كَرَامَةَ لَكُمْ قَالُوا فَإِنَّا نَجْعَلُ لَكَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ جُعْلًا قَالَ وَذَلِكَ أَخْبَثُ وَأَخْبَثُ
