[Machine] Regarding Islam, he joined the polytheists, so Allah, exalted be He, revealed {How can Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief} [Al Imran 86] until the end of the verse. So his people sent him back, repenting. The Prophet ﷺ accepted that from him and forgave him.

عَنِ الْإِسْلامِ وَلَحِقَ بِالْمُشْرِكِينَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ تَعَالَى {كَيْفَ يَهْدِي اللهُ قَوْمًا كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِيمَانِهِمْ} [آل عمران 86] إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ فَبَعَثَ بِهَا قَوْمُهُ فَرَجَعَ تَائِبًا فَقَبِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُ وَخَلَّى عَنْهُ
