ahmad:19814 – ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar > Maṭar > ʿAbdullāh b. Buraydah al-Aslamī

[Machine] His companions said to him, may Allah's slaves, that the Amir has sent you to ask you about the pond, have you heard anything from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? He said, Yes, I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioning it, so whoever denies it, Allah will not let him drink from it.  

أحمد:١٩٨١٤ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ مَطَرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ قَالَ شَكَّ عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ فِي الْحَوْضِ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى أَبِي بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ فَأَتَاهُ فَقَالَ

لَهُ جُلَسَاءُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ إِنَّمَا أَرْسَلَ إِلَيْكَ الْأَمِيرُ لِيَسْأَلَكَ عَنِ الْحَوْضِ فَهَلْ سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ شَيْئًا؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَذْكُرُهُ فَمَنْ كَذَّبَ بِهِ فَلَا سَقَاهُ اللهُ مِنْهُ

[Machine] His companions, the slaves of Allah, said to him, "Indeed, the prince has sent you to ask you about the pond. Have you heard anything from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it?"
