[Machine] When Barirah was given the choice, I saw her husband follow her in the streets of Madinah, with tears flowing down his beard. So Al-Abbas went to speak to the Prophet, ﷺ , about it. The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said to Barirah, "He is your husband." She said, "Are you commanding me to go back to him, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "I am only trying to intercede." So she was given the choice, and she chose herself. And he was a slave of the Banu Al-Mughira, whose name was Mugheeth.
