[Machine] There was an old man from the tribe of Tamim who, during the time of Uthman, reported that his father had met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, write for me a document stating that I will not be held accountable for the wrongdoing of others." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Indeed, that is for you and for every Muslim."  

أحمد:١٥٩٣٧حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ

عَنْ رَجُلٍ كَانَ قَدِيمًا مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ كَانَ فِي عَهْدِ عُثْمَانَ رَجُلٌ يُخْبِرُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ لَقِيَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ اكْتُبْ لِي كِتَابًا أَنْ لَا أُؤَاخَذَ بِجَرِيرَةِ غَيْرِي فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَكَ وَلِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ
