[Machine] A man from among us fasted while we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in some of his battles. He mentioned this to us and then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called for a cup and raised it in his hands to drink in front of the people, so that they could see that he was not fasting.  

أحمد:١٤٥٣٠حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَابِقٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

صَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنَّا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِيهِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ قَالَ ثُمَّ دَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِقَدَحٍ فَرَفَعَهُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ فَشَرِبَ لِيَرَى النَّاسُ أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ بِصَائِمٍ
