ahmad:14088ʿAffān > Sulaymān b. al-Mughīrah > Thābit > Anas > Māt Ibn Liʾabī Ṭalḥah from Um Sulaym

[Machine] Umm Sulaim, for her family, said, "Do not inform Abu Talha about his son until I do." So, she mentioned the meaning of the hadith of Bahz, except that she said, "My mother said, 'O Anas, do not feed him anything until you take it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." He stayed crying and laying on his side until morning, while his nursemaids took care of him. When morning came, I took him to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he had musk with him. When he saw the child with me, he said, "Perhaps Umm Sulaim has given birth." I said, "Yes," so he put his hand on his head and sat down.
