[Machine] Anas was asked if the Prophet ﷺ used to dye his hair. He replied, "The grey hairs of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not reach to the point where he would dye them. If I wanted to count the white hairs in his beard, I could, but Abu Bakr used to dye his hair with henna and katam, and Umar used to dye his hair with henna."  

أحمد:١٣٣٧٢حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ

أَنَّ أَنَسًا سُئِلَ خَضَبَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ؟ قَالَ لَمْ يَبْلُغْ شَيْبُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مَا كَانَ يَخْضِبُ وَلَوْ شِئْتُ أَنْ أَعُدَّ شَمَطَاتٍ كُنَّ فِيلِحْيَتِهِ لَفَعَلْتُ وَلَكِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ كَانَ يَخْضِبُ بِالْحِنَّاءِ وَالْكَتَمِ وَكَانَ عُمَرُ يَخْضِبُ بِالْحِنَّاءِ
