ahmad:1280ʿAbdullāh > Muḥriz b. ʿAwn b. Abū ʿAwn > Sharīk > Simāk > Ḥanash > ʿAlī

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me as a judge and said: ʿIf two disputants come to you, do not pass judgement against one of them until you hear what the other has to say, then the right verdict will become clear to you.ʿ  

أحمد:١٢٨٠حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنِي مُحْرِزُ بْنُ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ حَنَشٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَاضِيًا فَقَالَ إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْخَصْمَانِ فَلا تَقْضِ عَلَى أَحَدِهِمَا حَتَّى تَسْمَعَ مِنَ الآخَرِ فَإِنَّهُ يَبِينُ لَكَ الْقَضَاءُ
