ahmad:12641 – ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar > al-Zuhrī > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] Prayers were prescribed for the Prophet ﷺ on the night of his journey (Isra) and then they were reduced until they became five. Then it was announced, "O Muhammad, the decision will not be changed for me, and indeed for you with these five prayers are fifty."  

أحمد:١٢٦٤١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

فُرِضَتْ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ الصَّلَوَاتُ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِهِ خَمْسِينَ ثُمَّ نُقِصَتْ حَتَّى جُعِلَتْ خَمْسًا ثُمَّ نُودِيَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنَّهُ لَا يُبَدَّلُ الْقَوْلُ لَدَيَّ وَإِنَّ لَكَ بِهَذِهِ الْخَمْسِ خَمْسِينَ

"On the Night of Isra, fifty prayers were made obligatory upon the Prophet. Then it was decreased until it was made five. Then it was called out: 'O Muhammad! Indeed My Word does not change; these five prayers will be recorded for you as fifty.'"

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَنَسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
